i believe so.. i thought my speakers were blown but i turned down the amp completely, speakers sounded fine and the rattle was still there but yeah it was coming from that general area.

yeah, i have cheap Kenwood 6x9s in the rear just for fill. I couldn't fit anything else with a bigger magnet 'cause of the damn steel rods that run thru there.
