Default 1990 Accord ELD Code 20 diagnosis

My '90 Accord has been having charging system issues. After 3 or so days the car won't start and the battery needs recharging. After a charge the battery voltage reads 12.5 volts. After started, there's 14.5 volts at the battery and it appears to be charging even when the lights and accessories are on. After about a day of normal driving, the battery light comes on and shortly thereafter, dead battery. Did a diagnostic check and found a code 20, ELD "failure". Also did a volt check at the ELD connector and found about 0.5 volts as opposed to the 2.0 volts required. Can't find any info as what to do next except " sensor circuit bad or sensor disconnected". Has anyone experienced similiar Honda issues??

Get yourself a wiring diagram. Look were you recevied the low voltage and start tracing it back to the source.
