Welcome.
First off...you are only going to void the warrenty on the particular part you modify. If you modify the suspension, then you can plan on the suspension being voided, but it won't void the warranty on the motor, etc.
Some good modifications on any car is suspension and tires (and wheels if you like).
You need to understand that most aftermarket suspension setups will be anywhere from slightly more stiff to a lot stiffer. So you will feel bumps more, but if you have good shocks, the ride should be dampened better than the stock setup. Both the stiffer springs and better dampening shocks will lead to be a better performing car, but you probably don't want to do that if you feel that the stock suspension is already too harsh.
If you do want to upgrade the suspension, stick with name brand parts and companies. Springs such as H&R, Eibach, etc. Shocks such as Koni, Bilstein, etc. Complete coil-over systems (that include springs and shocks as one assembly) such as TEIN, Apexi, etc. Do a lot of research on this board (SEARCH) and others and find out the consequences of lowering (camber, etc) before you buy.
Remember that the single most item on the car is tires. They are your only link to the road, so don't overlook them if you want good handling.
Personally I have H&R "sport" springs with Koni adjustable shocks, larger wheels and stickier summer tires and it makes the car a lot more fun to drive. You can feel the bumps more, sure...but having the car more connected to the road and tearing down a backroad at speeds not possible with a stock Accord make the car a lot more fun. Plus the lower springs bring the car down to a respectable level since the stock wheel gap on Accords is less than attractive.
And please leave the tail lights stock.
For HID, the best option is retrofitting some OEM HID projectors into your factory housings. Check the link posted above for info.
