haha I've been looking around at the different Honda forums and this one seems most active for new accords. My dad totalled out second family car a while back, so now we need another. I think I've settled on getting the Accord Sedan LX V6, or maybe even just a base EX. It doesn't need all the bells and whistles cause well I'm just going to be driving it for a few months before turning it back over to my dad for his 200 mile commute to and from work.

So I'm wondering if anyone has bought an accord sedan recently and how much you paid?

I got quoted 20,532 for a 05 LX V6. Does anything think I can get it for 20k out the door?

I think the EX 4cyl would be better if you can swing it with a stick.

The k24 doesn't need a timing belt like the V6, and the manual tranny will run forever if you treat it right at some point the auto will die.

Plus I like the nicer the alloys and you will come to love the bells and whistles the EX has to offer. Plus if it's a commuter the awesome gas milage of the 4 would be nice...and it's not a putzy 4 either.

yeah i have an 03 ex 4cyl 5spd and i like it. its not fast but i like it. i just wish they would have made the v6 sedan in a stick

hmm ok i'll ask for quotes on the EX. Yea its going to be for my dad, so it has to be automatic.
