Default instructions for accessing rear strut thinggy...

I want to install new struts for the rear of my car.. But how do you access them?
Through the trunk?
Gotta remove rear deck?
Interior panels?

thanks,

Last two are correct. Start by removing the side bolsters on the rear seat (if you haven't done this before, there is a 10mm bolt at the bottom of the bolster, gotta squeeze between the bolster and seat bottom to reach it. A nut driver is perfect for it, then pull the entire bolster upwards, that'll release it). Then fold down the seat and you'll see a narrow plastic piece running the length of the rear deck. That needs to be removed by pulling upward, but the clips on that thing are touchy...I broke one when removing mine, but it's no biggie, it still is stable. That should reveal the top of the rear shock towers (thinggy ).
