Default MAF sensor? intake question

hey, i have a new 2004 accord sedan EX, and i want to get a cold air intake, but alot of intakes ive found for my car say "LEV engine only" or "without MAF sensor". How can i tell if my car doesnt have a MAF sensor or what? do some accords 03 &04 not have them? and if i do have one, what should i do about a new intake? Thankyou.

Your dealer would know if your car had a MAF sensor. Also, if a good brand of intake like AEM or injen says that their product will work with your car, then it should work. You could also try asking one of you local performance shops.

It's #15 on the corner of the aircleaner top cover. Apparently it's on California 4-cylinder cars. Either your aircleaner has that or it doesn't...

i got an 04 accord coupe ex I4 and i can tell you that any CAI is gonna be a PAIN to put in if you try to do it yourself. i have an injen 2-piece CAI and i still havent gotten the second piece in, so its functioning as a shortram for now. im plannin on gettin it installed professionally once i head home from college in a week or two. but yeah, im sure once it gets on, it'll be hotness. just...be careful when installing... :P

MAF sensors hate oily aftermarket filters. Be careful you don't contaminate the hotwire
