Default spark plug wires...

Just wondering if it's normal that when i remove the wires(engine is running) from the plug while i'm pulling them out of the hole the fire is jumping I can see sparks going from the tip of the wire to t he metal of the valve cover(at night). I thought that they were supposed to be insulated and no fire should jump from them but then again maybe it's because i unplugged them and the volatage is high enough for this to happen. If anyone could tell me , i'm suspecting i have bad wires.

Thankx

I guess it could be bad wires. I know I've been shocked before while holding a wire that was not damaged. It has something to do with grounds, or lack thereof...

I change my wires regularly so I never worry about them going bad.

Default Ignition of accords

The ignition system in your honda is very strong, and I actually saw a guy unplug all four wires, but let them lay in the tubes, and the car started and ran......

One thing for sure on a Honda is a good ignition spark.

is it even normal to unplug those wires while the engine is running? i think it is logical to see fire spark if you try to unplug the wires when the engine is running.
