well then take it to a different dealer...they can look up your code on the computer.

Your Honda dealership would not have that infomation. You would need to remove the radio and get the serial number. If you don't know how to remove the radio your local Honda dealership will charge you to remove it for you. If you have the serial number your local Honda would not charge you to get the anti theft code.

look for a sticker inside the glove box, or in the service manual. I've also seen them stuck to the spare tire or in the spare tire area.

If all that fails, you'll have to call the dealer back or go to another one. The codes are built off of the serial number of the radio and not the car. Some dealerships will keep this info and some don't.

the best idea would be to remove the radio yourself and then call the dealer ship.

Well, if you go to the same dealer for service, they may keep the code in their notes about your car, sometimes using the VIN# to look up the car. But thats if they've worked on the car, and have needed to look up the code.

When this happened to my 98 Accord i just took it to my local Honda Dealership and they somehow figured it out. I didn't ask how, but when i picked it up and hour later, the bill said Retrieved Radio Code, and it cost 16 dollars.
