I dunno, i planned on getting an h23 engine swap, but people are telling me that it is illegal in cali (even tho i can get the same year as my car) Im starting to get fed up with all the restrictions that cali has, and im starting to think that doing anything to my car is just stupid now. Its starting to become a big ass hassle to do anything, and im thinking of just selling my car and buying something fast--dont get me wrong, i love the looks of my car (r33 skyline body kit) but there is just no legal way for me to have a fast accord... It hurts to say this, but im seriously thinking about the axe on hondas

there are tons of honda tuner/enthusiasts in california with fast hondas, dood where do you think professional import drag racing started... west coast.

smog is not the end of the world, or the end of tuning hondas in cali atleast. i have a pretty decent nitrous setup on my engine, friend has a jdm b16 sir2 in a hatch, another friend has a jdm 3sgte turbo motor in his mr2, another has a sr20det in a 240, another has a jdm h22 in a hatch, smog is not stopping us. you just need to know people. im pretty sure if you ask ppl on this board in your area where they get their swapped cars passed in your area someone will tell you. its only every 2 yrs anyways.
