anybody from med tech major or chem major could give us an explaination?

anyway, i've done the most part of draining the coolant but there's only 8/10 of a gallon of coolant drained out as it should be around 1.5 gallons....there's another drain plug on the transaxle on the right side which is shown in the owner's manaul that i couldn't find it under the car. any idea about this? my accord is a ex-v6. thanks a lot!

I wouldn't say either are really "healthy" ethylene glycol tastes good, so they say. That's it's main attraction.

So according to Honda, how long does it take to deteriorate your water pump?

ok, now...i got the coolant changed couple days ago with new honda coolant....
i drained out everything from the radiator but there's a 2nd drain plug that i should loose but i just couldn't find it...the owner's manual shows the 2nd drain plug is near the transaxle, but i didn't see it anywhere.....so i drained out about 8/10 of a gallon from the radiator, i thought there should be 1.48 gallons from the cooling system....i just filled it with the new coolant while there might be some old coolant in the engine block. i don't know if i should do that...could anyone help me out? thanks!

You won't get it all out.
I use only Honda fluids in my car, it's the safest.
The stuff tastes like crap btw.
