Default Terrible practice by Honda Canada Customer Relations

Just wanted to share with you my wonderful call to Honda Canada Customer service dept. I called them at 6:50PM to ask a few questions though I was put on hold. Okay... Rod Stewart's "Loved By You" was playing so that was nice.... for the first few minutes. After a while, I noticed that no other song was playing. That same song played over and over and over! Ugh.... I was on hold for over 40 mins and getting pretty impatient listening to Rod crooning the same song... At 7:34 PM (around the time the CS dept. ends), I get a wonderful message saying that I will have to call back tomorrow. Click! Unbelievable!

Is this something that happens when calling American Honda Customer Service? The least they could do is answer the calls that come in before 7:30PM. To cut everyone off like that especially after waiting a long time is not a good way of establishing "good relations."

I would have hung up after 5 mins, Must have been at closing time, and Canadians, they were probably drinking Molson.

I cant stand that crap, I would much rather go talk to someone in person then wait at the phone, that way you can yell at customer service to their face.

A lot of new "on hold" services measure the stress level in your voice. If you get a very gruff tone with bass and yell something obsense they usually come on in 2-3 minutes. I'm serious, I've tried it.
