Paint or buy new rocker panels? (below door)
I have a 03 Accord LX Coupe. I don't like how the lower rocker panel is black plastic instead of body-colored like the EX models. I was wondering if I should have a shop paint it or if I should buy the EX parts that are already painted. Any suggestions?
I'm also interested in getting the aluminum interior trim kit. Anyone know where I can buy this at a reasonable price? I'm interested in the OEM kit since I know of way too many garbage aftermarket parts that don't fit properly.
I remember seeing a place online that offered OEM honda parts at a good price, but I searched all over here without finding it.
thanks

Since you have the coupe, one better than the EX skirts would be the OEM underbody/lip kit: http://www.handaaccessories.com/accext03.html
If you want the regular skirts, I'd get the EX ones. You can probably find them for close to what you'll pay for yours to get prepped and painted. Also, they aren't the same...the LX ones are textured, makes painting more of a pain.

Buy the EX ones if they arent too expensive. They'll hold up better than painting yours would, would probaly be in the same ballpark as a pro paint job, and you dont have to worry about paint match or quality.
