let me explain my situation: A few weeks ago, i had my factory bumper off for some reason (i forgot). but anyway, i ended up stepping on and smashing one of my front turn signal bulbs. since there was only one bulb, the blinker on that side blinked much faster. I didnt bother replacing this bulb because i knew that when i got my new street fighter bumper i'd lose the bumper turn signals anyway. Well, I just got my car out of the shop today and they did not bother to put a bulb in that socket so i'm stuck with a retarded blinker on one side. I cant access this empty socket cause i'm not sure how they put my new bumper on. is there any way i can short that socket somewhere else so my blinker wont be spastic?

I thought you said you'd lose the bumper turn signals when they put it on??

Oh well... you might want to try to get under the front of the car, and see if you can take the plastic down underneath to access the bulb... If not, try taking the grille out (the one between the headlights) and reach inside the bumper. The only way to stop the quick flashing is to change that bulb... besides, you need front turn signals... your car wont pass inspection without them (unless you know someone)... besides, I hate when people dont use turn signals!!

 

I still have the turn signals in my corner lamps and i also have sidemarkers i installed. I lost the lens in the bumper, but the socket is still in there somewhere. and it actually DID pass inspection. i hadf to have the sheriff come out and inspect it so i could apply for a rebuilt title.
