Well, you're probably not going to get 100% of the old fluid out this way, so the best bet is to check your level before, drain it, measure how much you drained, and put in that amount (then recheck and adjust). Having too much ATF isn't a great thing.

when I take my car in for routing service and check-up, will they replace the ATF as needed? (talking about the warranty on an 03)
