I'm not sure why anyone would swap anything into a 6th gen Accord.
If it ain't fast enough just sell the car and buy a used something else, clearly cheaper then swapping. Preludes are much cheaper now and clearly will have higher resale value.

The K20A will not fit without making some serious custom brackets and parts.
The trannies sit on oppisite side of the other older hondas.
Not to mention the intake manifold is wrongly placed and the exhaust manifold is of the wrong design for the Accord.

yes k20 is possible, but the cost for the engine + labor will most likely equal close to your car's value...

as for other engines, h22 is your best choice, but personally i would rather go turbo, cuz its cost less and more power

H22 is not your best choice, as I have said. People are giving armchair advice, due to their experience with the 5th gen Accord. The 6th gen accord the H22 is NOT a direct swap. Ask hasport, they make NOTHING for it.

what does it take to swap an h22 into a 6th Generation Accord to all those who don't know the 4th and 5th gens accept the swap directly. the 6th gen aka 98-02 accords would take alot of customizationa and when all is said and done it may not even be street legal due to emmissions

anyway PHiZ if you could in detail post what it takes to make the swap it will be greatly appreciated.

I will attempt to at some point. I am trying to finish up this customers car this weekend. This swap was made somewhat more complicated because it was an automatic to manual swap and the chassis was originally a ULEV motor (Vtec-E).
