Default brake bleeding

The bleeding sequence is Front Left, Front Right, Rear Right and Rear Left. I have done this on my 02 EX V6 and it worked out perfectly.

Don't think so.
The rule of thumb has been you start with wheel furthest from the master cylinder,.. and then you work your way around.
They can be bled like you said,.. but the experts say not to do it that way.

Well, I guess the experts were out sick on the day this page was printed into the 98-02 Helms Accord factory service manual as it shows the sequence exactly as I had mentioned above.

This sequence is also printed in the Chilton 96-00 Accord/Prelude service manual, and the procedure listed above is only mentioned for 98-00 Accords and Preludes, the 96-97's show the way you mentioned.

The old-old way is work your way from farthest to closest. Then in the '60s with dual/diagonal brakes, you start with the farthest then go diagonally opposite. So that would be RR-LF-LR-RF.

Then with ABS the order is based on which circuit is more likely to push bubbes into which other circuit. That depends on the plumbing details around the ABS modulator, not the distance to each wheel.
