Default painting lights black

Yeah, i was gonna paint my light fixtures black on the front two lights and was wondering. Is it coo to use regular ol' black paint (like the kind you can pick-up at Wal-Mart)?

Oh, and this has nothing to do with painting, but i went to taco bell today and this mother phucker had the same exact bodykit as me!!! I know he got it after me too, that lil sonovabitch.

dont go to black , might block the light from your headlights.
One thing my friend did was he cut out circles and taped them to his headlights and used like a spray tint.
Its a light spray but also you can see that circle on his headlight looks like projectors a bit.

Im pretty sure hes talking about painting the headlamp reflectors, and not the headlamp lens itself.

remember to just paint the housings, not the reflectors, or your lights will not shine on the ground.

ok, so i cant take out the actual light, and paint the whole housing black? I have to mask off those rings things because those are my reflectors? kinda like this... https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/a...chmentid=32230 I think imma have to tint the clear cover to make it look right tho.
