One thing my friend did was he cut out circles and taped them to his headlights and used like a spray tint.
Its a light spray but also you can see that circle on his headlight looks like projectors a bit.
Im pretty sure hes talking about painting the headlamp reflectors, and not the headlamp lens itself.
