Default Injen RD Intake. Good stuff?

ive got an 04 accord coupe ex 4cly. im tryin to get make a few small, but effective mods on it and was wondering if anyones heard anything about injens RD intakes (or any of their stuff). other than that, i was thinkin about gettin a tanabe hyper medallion cat-back w/ it. if anyones got other suggestions about intake/exhaust combos then it would be freakin awesome.

best combo i've seen... AEM V2 intake, DC header, GReddy EVO, or EVO2 exhaust...the V2 intake makes more power than any other intake out there, and the EVO makes really good power as well...that's the setup i have V2, DC header, GReddy EVO...u said u wanted to make effective mods, go for the best...i already know somebody's gonna come behind me and blast intakes, fact is, the old AEM CAI for the accords didn't do shit, injen intakes from what ive seen dont do much...if u're gonna do it, do it right, get the V2. there's no intake on the market that can touch it. i dunno what it'll do for the new 4cyl, for my 00 4cyl it's rated about 8hp and 9ft-lbs of torque (at the wheels from AEM's dyno on the website), injen didn't do that. on the 03+ V6 it made around 18hp i think...so go with the V2, u'll be glad u did...im not sure if DC's got a header out for the new accord yet, they prolly do, but i'd get that, and a GReddy EVO exhaust. I wouldn't go with that weak ass GReddy SP cuz it's basically just a prettier stock exhaust...but it's still restrictive and basically for people that just want a bigger muffler...go with the EVO2, full stainless steel...u'll be glad u did

yeah go pay 200+ on an intake to gain only 2-3 hp.
Thats a waste of money I see.

I would get the headers and the EVO2 like -----^ he said

I highly doubt you will net 8hp and 9tq with the V2 despite what AEM says also goes for the V2 on an 03 + accord ( 18hp ) ?.

hey guys, thanks for the comments. i know for sure that the V2's are crazy. my friend got one for his 03 rsx type s and yeah, its crazy. thing is, i think that they only have one out for the 04 accord coupe V6, which is what i dont have... is there a way i can see if one is in development (or better yet, already out) for my car?

same w/ the exhaust. i thought they only made the evo2 exhausts for crazy cars like s2000s; none for mine. pleeease correct me if im wrong about this.

headers...yeah i'll have to look around for more info on that.

mad props to you folk for your tips. >:] holla back~

I've heard alot of reviews with the V2 intake.
I wanna see a dyno sheet of just the intake to see how much power it does net.

get the intake/header/exhaust combo. The new K24 love mods.

Injen RD Intake is good (I personally have one)
AEM CAI or AEM V2
DC Sport 4-2-1 header (stainless/ceramic) difference is marginal
GReddy EVO / EVO 2 exhaust (EVO 2 is completely stainless)

Go for it man and happy modding.

Injen all the way. It was proven on a 4cyl 7th gen to out perform the AEM. I read it in Import Tuner. I think it was an online article. I am not a true fan of AEM. I think their brakes are trash, and pullies are not made like UR. But my dislike of AEM products has nothing to do with my decision on the Intake.

u say it's a waste of money to buy an intake, yet u suggest getting an exhaust??? IMHO and on most dynos i've seen, unless ur boosted, the gains on exhaust are minimal compared to gains on intake, which can also be relatively low...my pt is that i'd advise i/h over e
