ahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahh

But seriously, ahahah, anyways. I've got one, it's a Helix PowerTower, same design I bet. I saw about a 10-15 miles per tank gain.

Says who???

Real tests under controlled parameters on closed oval tracks showed NO increase in MPG, and no power gains were shown on Dynos. This pieces of garbage dont do jack per Car & Driver & Sport Compact Car, and those were only 2 articles that I read myself. I have yet to see anything independant that showed any benefit.

Its nothing but an obstruction in your intake, and if you think that air is still swirling from where its sitting blocking your intake all the way to the combustion chamber, you're clearly not thinking it through.

That makes sense.

Let's see, on one hand we have Car & Driver who took cars, filled them up with gas, and ran them around a closed circular track at a constant speed, checking its mpg several times. The Tornado was put in, and the test repeated. Results --Zippo

Next, a few cars are dyno'd by SCC, the Tornado is installed, and then the cars are dyno'd again. This test was done by SCC WITH the Tornados inventor on hand and it showed NO gains at all.

Thats one side of the coin, and on the other we have Wedleys first hand experience with no data whatsoever through day to day driving with no controls. Ahh yes stupid me, it must work.

I have a special deal for you. I have a coke can that I cut up into a fan. You shove it into your tail pipe, and it actually creates a vortex that suck your exhaust out producing negative back pressure. Special deal for you for only $75. My friend tried it, and he says he gets an extra 20mpg, and 20% more hp now than before. We dont have any real facts, or data to back it up, but who needs that BS when you have my friends results.

Funny part is that Tornado used to sell for $20, and then overnight it jumped to more than double that. Hey if you can take em for $20, why stop there? P.T. barnum said it best, there's a sucker born every minute.

did they try it on every car? its just common sense, a tornado spins faster when the air is directed in a circular motion.

not sure what kind of point you are trying to make? cuz i already have it in my car, and it works for me, so stop trippin.

I liked your first post better. But anyways, I agree. Plus, if the cars are going in an oval shape the whole time it doesn't give the air enough time to helixize. Uh yeah.. that's it. Like I said, I noticed 10-15MPT.

Hey wedley, do you know if these things can get dirty/need to be cleaned?

u see a gain of 10-15 miles per TANK?...how can u be sure that isn't the negligible difference that u see when ur driving and/or driving conditions vary?
