Default H22...Its time for me

Just looking to get a full swap for my 95 accord lx. I have used the search in the forums to round up info, but I need some more plz.

I was looking @ this motor http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Im in St. George Ut and its in SLC ut, so I could pick it up maybe and save some shipping cost. But I have read about the h22a4, is that not a good application? Also when looking for a swap you want to get engine/trans/axles/ecu & all the other little things.

When your shopping for swaps online how do you tell if its going to be complete or if you going to be stuck with engine in and hunting for a few parts still? I have rounded up some websites with h22 swaps:

http://www.jspecautosports.com/jas/html/honda.html

http://www.nippon-motors.com/Performance%20Engines.htm

http://www.inlinefour.com/motors.html

http://www.jdmsource.ca/honda/h22a.html

http://www.ardperformance.com/

http://www.jaydm.com/jdm.htm

http://www.topendmotorsports.com/eng...h22/index.html

I also have some links to purchase full clips & full swaps from japan for lots less than any of those links, but you pay $580 shipping and it takes 30days to get here, after that it comes close to what you would buy one in us for anyways.

I'm alittle confused do you trust ebay for purchasing motor swaps?

Thanks in advance for any help

oh, and if you're going for a boosted application look at my thread "swap, plz help" and my other threads, you're going to need to do some serious modding to the engine before you even put it in (resleeving the block mostly, to handle forged pistons as well as using forged pistons and rods)

LoL I already posted the online links I found

I know http://www.ardperformance.com/ has front clips but you can get them way cheaper from japan, 1700$ + 580 shipping for front clip
motor swap pkg 1450 + shipping, but its 30days shipping

Do I really want a front clip? or just find a good swap pkg that includes everything?

And what am I looking for it to include for my swap? I know my stock cv axles would prob snap with 220 hp laying down right?

not unless you launch really hard... and 220? dont buy a type-s waste of money, you get the same performance out of new pistons/rods which i'd suggest getting anyway.

it will cost a pretty penny but since the best thing to get is forged pistons and rods i would suggest just getting JE pistons that are 11:1 to get the same gains, if not most possibly more. the entire thing will cost you about the same as a type-s, only it will be new.

(resleeve the block 1000, poistons/rods 800)
