honda audio specs web site?
Yea, they're 4 alright. I just couldn't check them myself because one of the probes on my meter was shot and i was getting dynamic redings from 10 ohms to 2. So i made some new probes and checked it. definatly 4 ohm.
However, i now have the problem that most of the 6x9's i found at Frys and CC today have multi elements that protrude above the cone, and i need to use the stock grills. So many won't fit. I actually would prefer some 6x9 subs, tho very few of those are available and only online where i can't hear before i buy. The multi element ones i listened too either didn't have very clean bass or the tweeters were distorted at hell at high volumes. And i don't even need tweeters in the rear. So if i turn them up loud either the hi end distorts and is piercing, or the lows fart out. And i tried polk, pioneer, sony, and a couple others. i don't wanna pay a lot, but it looks like i may have to. Oddly, the stock 6x9's don't seem any worse than what i listened to today, yet they have magnets the size of a thimble literally.
