hey im new to the forum
anywayz i have a question bout my ac .. everytime i turn it on it make a loud noise.. it kinda like some like a fan or somethin'.. can any1 tell me what is wrong w/ it?? thx

 

Makes a loud noise? Can you explain, is like a howling noise? That would be your bearings in your compressor clutch if that's the case.

hehe...like I said howling noise is bearing in your compressor clutch, the way to fix it is replace your compressor clutch. My dad's '92 compressor makes the same noise, bearing problem also. I'll probably replace my dad's compressor with an entire rebuilt one (compressor and clutch together) from this place: www.aircoparts.com, that way I don't have to fiddle with trying to get out the old clutch off the compressor, plus it's cheaper from this place for a rebuilt Nippodenso which is the Honda and Toyota OEM brand that they put in.
