Default Brakes

I want to put better Rotors and maby drums on my 1990 honda accord dx. I would like to know if I could just put better rotors on the car without upgrading any other prake parts besides the pads. Any help anyone could give me would be great.

Well, with 90-93's the rotor is pressed onto the hub and you need a special puller to get them off. I found that out about 2 years ago when I was getting powerslots put on my 92 LX. I tried to tell them but they wouldn't listen and when it came time to put them on they were like, Come back tommorrow and I'll bring the puller tool from home. Took them like 3 days...
Powerslots are worth the money tho... as far as rear drums go the only "performance" mod i know of for them is maybe some AEM rear brake shoes... but I'd say concentrate on the fronts as they do the most work. Most people switch their rear drums to EX rear discs.

You could always swap the front discs to SWor legend front discs, they're bigger and have more clamping force. Good luck bro, read my 92 brake job post.

Yes, it's do-able. I did that on my 92 Civic, I opted for REAL Brembo cross drilled.

http://www.racetechnologies.com has them for good prices, and you could be sure they're real Brembo cross drilled, not someone who got regular rotors and drilled their own holes.

Good luck!
