Up here in Alpharetta theres a place called "Emissions El Gato", a co-worker brought his jeep there and they plugged into the obd and stuck in the sniffer, no visual. It took him about 10 min.

Keep throwin a CEL but it comes on and off. MAhdavi will not look at it until I get the new injectors in it. Bastids. Hope it will not kill the engine. I would be pissed.

damn, hey sounds like a good mechanic...Cant he get the injectors for you?I went to the junk yard and I couldnt find any H22 cars in there.

There was a 97 prelude but the engine wasnt an H22 not sure if u could use those injectors.
Plus it was in a head on collision and the engine is shifted so im not sure that they even work.

Yeah but he over charges. They do incredible work and have gotten a good reputation. Now there prices are higher. But you pay for what you get, right?

as long as the job is done RIGHT the FIRST time, then im willing to pay a reasonable price for this job.
If you dont mind me asking how much have you spent so far.

Im trying to bring my first car back to life ) 93 si ). I have it in my garage since I have alot of memories with it. ( crashing in to a wall hit the car next to me which was a girl, i ended up dating her and porking her ) also at the tiem i didnt have money to tow it out of my yard so i pushed it into my garage and left it there since 98 cause my VW was bought for me by my dad as a high school graduation gift.

thinking of b18c for it. Just I dont know what I need and how much I will spend.

So far on everything 5700 dollars. That is for the engine lsd tranny, ecu, new header, misc parts, hoses, timing belts new water pump, new distributor, new plugs, plug wires, etc etc....... It has been costly but I know I will be completly satisfied when it is all said and done.

Oh and new axles. There is prob mpre but I can't think of them right now.,

So I figuired out that the injectors must not be working at low engine speed. I am running extremly rich and only when I am 3500 rpm or below. I think they are stuck open or something. Also I am going through gas like it is going out of style. Plus I throw a CEL only when rpms under 3500. I don't know it doesn't matter anyways I am haveing rc racing make me some custom injectors.

hey man, i know that price is usually a pain in the @$$, but since in my thread you said you'd be going for 300hp i'd figure you'd want to look into aftermarket injectors right now instead of later

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...80&prmenbr=361

thats out of jegs mind you, you prolly can find them for cheaper elsewhere

the 370cc/min would probly be the best thing for you because the boost+vtec will have the engine starving for gas not to mention oil

(my car is going to be a daily driver too, and i wouldnt trust putting in any more used parts than i need to, especially inside the engine)

i'm pretty sure those should fit even the jdm engine.. but double check with your mechanic
