Default Will Lexus rims fit Accord?

Hey guys,
hopefully someone can help with this question..
I've got a 1999 Honda Accord EX V6
Friend of mine is getting new rims for his older Lexus and
offered to sell me the rims he has now for my Honda.
They are 18" 245/40 series.
I was told there is a site online where you can "see" how the rims
fit on a car but I can't find it.
Any ideas if these lexus rims would work for the honda?
Let me know if you need more info to determine...
I didn't know where else to ask! Thanks so much!
I want my Honda to look good, one little bit at a time...

Check out www.TireRack.com, they have a Nice selection of wheels and you can see what they'd look Like when installed.

Do you know what the bolt pattern size is for the Lexus rims?

i work at lexus, and as far as i know, the newer models are 5x114.3. i doubt toyota changed the lug pattern so you should be a safe bet with the wheels. what year lexus ? your accord has 5x114.3 so you should be fine, granted toyota ( ie. lexus) hasn't changed the lug pattern through the years.

I doubt you'll want to use 245/40s...that's a little too wide. How wide are the wheels? If wider than 8", you'll likely have problems.

Default too wide

I think you're right, they will be too wide... I have 505s on there now,
and according to one site I saw it says to not go more or less than
about 15 (I think the normal size tire is 515 for this honda, so I could go
500 to 530) the Lexus tires would be too big.
It's too bad tho, they are nice!

The lugs were the same... and I'd ask him to let me 'try them out'
on the Honda but he's not *that* good a friend. haha
thanks for all the replys!

Lexus rims are 5 x 114.3. However, even if they were the right width, they still wouldn't fit. Lexus hubs are 60.1mm and Honda hubs are 64.1mm. You'd have to get the inside bored out to make them fit properly....
