I just read a review that was well done a thurough on the 2004 accord. Having just recently bought an EXL, i was suprised to see this quote in the review....

"All three sound systems feature stuff like two-band compression and five-point parametric equalization."

I'm at work right now and therefore away from my manual. But i found no 5 band parametric or compression features inthe audio system ! I will look in the manual when i get home, but i read it once and didn't see anything like that, nor have i found and such settings in my cars audio system. Does anyone know if there is something i'm missing here.....maybe a way of accessing these features, or do they simply not exeist and are jusy a mistake by the author of the review?

I'm actually quite happy with the audio, and it exceeded my expectations after owning a civic. But a parametric would be awesome because the only complaint i have about it is the low end seems to be centered at a frequency thats a bit to low. A parametric would allow me to hone in on just the right band.

 

Since there are no apparent controls for it, I'm guessing the review is referring to the way it was engineered.
