Default Wheel alignment?

My accord pulls a little to the right when I take my hands off the wheel. I'm pretty sure I need an alignment, but which kind? Isn't there like a 2-wheel and 4-wheel alignment? What do I need?

That depends. Sometimes its not the alignment that makes the car pull its the tires that causes the car to pull. When was the last time you got an alignment?

There are places out there that will do a lifetime alignment for like $100-120. You get free lifetime full alignment for as long as you own the car. I recommend this because after 2-3 full alignments you will have cover the initial cost. Its best to get a full alignment twice a year or every 6 months.
very true...get that if you have the extra cash....i think the requirment is every 6,000 miles or 6 months at a tire shop near me in atlanta...just like Elite said. And if ur really low on cash....just get the front aligned and see if it corrects the problem...then get the rear....you can also always ask an experienced tire man whats wrong with your car..that never hurts

also to add to what Elite said about your tires doing the turning. If you have a bad alignment....it will wear your tires more and more the WRONG way....even though your alignment might not be bad....it will APPEAR worse because your tires are getting eaten up....so..even if you get your car aligned perfectly..it might still go to the right or left until you get a new set of tires on there.

Hope that helps...

Dave

so only if the car pulls to one side when you let go of the steering wheel do you go to get an alignment?? cus my car i feel the back wiggling ever since my new tires (put on the back). the camber is kinda bad...but is that all i need to fix.

it doesn't pull to one side at all...goes straight...but on the freeway i feel the back just wiggling

anyone got good prices on a camber kit?? i'm thinking of going with ingalls but i heard bad stuff about them too?? any suggestion on which ones to get?

thanks

Check your tire pressure. If your tire pressure is considerably lower on the side of the car its pulling towards then that could have a big effect on your pull. As far as alignment goes, a full alignment will run you around $40.

whoever quoted $6 for an alignment is incorrect. Maybe $6 for balancing, but even thats too low really. Alignment should be anywhere $50+

For the steering wheel wiggling back and forth, it has to be some part of the suspension. Or at least for me. Although old tires can do it also. Mine is doing it more and more, but at the same time, I have like a half inch of play in my steering wheel for some reason. But camber should not make it do that.
