I really glad you posted this info and sorry that you had to go thriugh all of that.
If people do a search for turbo install in the future it might save someone else a lot of time and money.

Not sure if this is an old post or not came searching for something else but saw this post and wanted to post reply real quick.

A few basic things about modding any car.

1.Got to trust the shop!, make sure you know the guy and trust his work!

2.Got to do research

I did a turbo installation on my accord kit came used I had no idea what i was getting into my I decided to install the kit myself and what did i learn? When running a oil drain line from the turbo to oil pan make sure its not right up to the downpipe like i did melt and cause damage to the turbo afterwards. Next lesson to me was read the directions, I also have FMAX kit I was using honda denso map sensor had all sorts of problems found that i was suppose to actually use the GM map sensor kit came with opps. Money and time invested for not taking it to the shop and having it done right the first time left me out 200bucks not bad Did the turbo rebuild myself got the garret center housing off ebay with over 10,000miles on the new garret center housing in my turbonetics turbo still works fine hehe

^^ :werd:

I am still in the planning (trying to find $$) stage to do this project. I refuse to take any of my cars to a shop for anything other than alignment. I have always done all the work myself, engine swaps, trannie rebuilds, etc... But when it comes to turbo'n I am quite a nOOb, the advise I have gotten from ashzero, pkspx, and others on www.honduh.com is golden. There is several peps overthere with boosted accords and could answer just about any questions you may have and help you save $$$.

Just my .02

Some more info.

Never try turbo on auto-tranny, it will kill the tranny.

After have fun for about 2 month, the tranny was
gone. It cost 3 grand to have a rebuild to install.

Sounds like you have way too much money to throw around. So for that reason I dont feel bad at all.
