Default 95 accord Condensor Fan

I have a 95 accord lx and my condensor fan(pass side) is not even working anymore, my car is getting hot and the ecu is turning off the a/c so it starts blowing out hot air & well my car is getting hot too. I called honda for the hell of it and asked how much $ for a motor they said 224.25 I dont even know if thats for sure what it is? anyone else had to fix the same thing?? Also anyone know a good place to pick up the part rather than honda's lame ass's

thanks

Jump the condenser fan switch and test the relays. Hold off on buying new parts just yet.

I figured out its not the condensor fan, its the Main fan, and when u spin it with your hand it doesnt hardly move it feels froze up. Any suggestions on what to do? Take the fan off the radiator and try to fix motor? Put a new motor in the fan?

Thanks

I'm in the process of changing both fans out. I too called Honda and got the 222(4).00 price for each "motor" not even the whole fan just the motor. My local Discount Auto (which is Advanced Auto) had the radiator fan in stock for 45.00 which in most cases is a NipponDenso motor. They didn't have the condenser fan so I went to Auto Zone which only had the whole unit (Fan, motor & housing) for 120.00 so I picked it up and it's lifetime guaranteed.

Installing the condenser fan is simple. But the radiator one I couldn't do. There is a radiator hose and a/c lines blocking it from pulling up & out. I didn't wanna mess with my a/c lines living in Florida and all, it's something I need.

Well anyway you can go to a local store and buy just the motors if the original housings are still good (not cracked or whatever) and swapping them out is easy. Just unscrew the fan blade from the motor. And like 3-4 screws holding the motor to the housing.

Default Got the same issue....sort of

One of my fans makes noise and rumbles hideously. It only comes on when in slow traffic or sitting for a while.

Which fan displays these symptoms?

Which fan is which? In other words, which fan is on driver side?

Thanks
