I just bought a cold air intake for my 1990 Accord EX sedan and i was wondering how much hp does it add and what else does a cold air do as far as performance and sound goes. if anyone could answer me, that would be great. thanks

 

u should try searching first...............been covered PLENTY of times.....

 

u would get more gains wit a exhaust as well. but maybe 3 the most...it sounds good though.

15 hp with i/h/e???? thats a bit high there.
he is lucky if he gets like 10-12.

So let me get this straight... You bought a CAI without knowing really ANYTHING about what it is doing for your engine? What exactly were you thinking? Did some friend just tell you to get it, or did you hear about it on one of those tuner shows on the Speed Channel or Spike TV? If that doesn't define RICE, I don't know what does. I'd be embarrassed to admit something like that on a board like this...
