What are some good run flat tires that fits an 2000 Accord Special Edition? My friend's Accord's front right tire blew (sudden lost of air) today, he nearly go into an accident, so I suggest him to get some run flat tires. What are some good run flat that have comparable grip to the Yokohama DB S2's? Cuz that's the tire he had right now. Thanks.

 

only a few companies make them, and the ones that do, they are highly expensive, and from what I've heard - VERY heavy. Look into the stock tires that come on the new vette....you'll ahve to look it up, the name escapes me right now.

My friend with a Lexus SC430 (!!!!!, 5spd auto-sportshift, 300hp/310ftlb-tq!!!!, what a FUN car) had the runflats installed from the factory and they lasted like 9K miles. He doesn't squall tires either, just drives REALLY fast.

 

I dont think they make a run flat size tire to fit the Accord wheel

 

Does anyone know the name of the Corvette run flats? I know the Mini Cooper has run flats, but I don't know what brand they are. If anyone knows please help. Thanks.

I searched on tirerack, looks like they don't even carry run flats. Are there anyone here that have run flat tires on their Accord, please help. If not I guess he'll just get another set of Yokohama DB S2.

 

the smallest I saw were 18" rim sizes, and the size width wise was way too wide....so that's out. The corvette runs on Goodyear runflats
