Default whats the differnece in OBD2/OBD2b

The reason why I ask is I currently bought a 2000 prelude SH model. Not knowing that it has that dum ATTS system that is not friendly with my accord. So I swapped trannys for a 92-96 base model H22 vtec tranny, but now I have to change wiring harness cause the one that came with the engine has the atts included in the wiring. So I went and orderd a 2001 base model h22 vtec wiring harness this will work right. I am going nuts here, and how do I know what is obd2 or obd2b, and what they do.

it doesn't matter what year the H22 is just use your accord harness and use the correct ecu for the OBD system that you will be running. You will need to shorten and lengthen some wires and add a few plugs from the H22 harness
