just a minor problem
okay so when you are driving (stick) when there is a stop in front, u step on the brakes when it is still engaged and at the last second, u put it in neutral right?
sometimes when i put it into neutral and step on the brakes, the rpm will dive to like 400 and when im stopped it will come back up. this doesnt happen all the time, usually when the engine is cold or when its engaged (of course...)
anyone know a problem? im thinking it might b the clutch, im really not sure though.

From what I notice, doesn't the RPM's always drammatically drop when you take it out of gear and throw it in neutral??? All of the work that the engine was using to move the car isn't being used once you put it in neutral and you just cruise. I can't remember what exact level my RPM's go to when that happens, but I'll check it out the next time I am driving and let you know. I don't think it's the clutch though, because the clutch does the opposite when it is going, the RPM's shoot up really high with just a tap of the gas when in any gear.
