Default Step 2!!!

modding the tv is a whole other process heheh. so far, i'm at about 80% complete with just that part, 95% overall. i'm waiting on my dual outlet power inverter that i got from ebay. the reason why it's takin so long is cause they were out of stock of the single outlet item they had in the auction so they offered me equal replacements and the one i picked was out of stock too so they are giving me a dual outlet kind. with the tv i still have to move the power button and color/contrast wheels. as it turns out, they are on the same PC board connected to the main part of the tv by wires so placement is not a factor. this weekend i gotta solder the bastard to perfection and get the car ready for the CT meet on the 17th . everything else works out fine with the Dreamcast and the FM modulator. i'm not getting a dvd/mp3 player anymore cause i bumped into some programs that let you convert to and play Divx movies on the DC and play mp3s as well. i also just got an old laptop so that can take a ride as well . project LCD will come to an end this weekend and altogether the cost came out to be under $200 for the tv, Dreamcast and a bunch of stuff, FM mod., dual outlet cig lighter adapter, dual outlet power inverter, and misc wires. thanks for all the support guys, especially accordfreak and cryogen. here are some progress pics. real ones will be taken this weekend

here's pretty much the finished product. i'm startin to think about not moving the buttons, leaving them there, and just making it touch-screen operated . anyhow, my power inverter should be in this week and it's all set for the meet comin up . i'm also thinkin about replacing the tinted glass there with a window tinted glass instead of the spray kind which you see. all in all, i'm happy with it.
