1990 Accord stalling
Can anybody help me with this? My 1990 Accords engine stalls out/off sometimes right after it's started when it's warm. Then I restart it and it's fine. Could it be the distributor, coil?? anybody?
thanks

I had the same problem in my 91 accord. It starts that way then only gets worse from there. It becomes more frequent....but usually after it stalls you can just wait about 10 seconds and it will start fine. ANYWAYS...I replaced the ECU and the problem was solved. This seems to be a common problem with many older hondas. Check into it.
Good luck!
P.S. Like you I went through the hassles of replacing spark plugs, the distrubutor cap and coils and even the ignitor....all in all...it was the ECU
