He posted over on superhonda too. ahahahah u can get the same effect from taking apart your cluster, removing the light diffuser covers, putting in blue bulbs.
Minus the red but yea..............and best part is, u will be all stock if u do it without the gauge faces too. hahaha

You can see what I am talking about over here..............this was stock bulbs with the blue condom like covers removed and that is all..............the effect would be magnified if you used blue bulbs.

at least in the 5th gen, there's still some green stuff on the back of the actual faces. this wouldn't matter at all if you're using blue bulbs, but if you want to do some other color the green layer may distort the color a little. i want to do superwhite, but i think that green coating will make it look pretty ugly

the reverse indigos will look a lot different than just using blue lights in stock gauges, tho. it's a much more clear and intense light

Actually no; if you look at the pics in the thread that I showed in my post you will see what it can look like if you remove the light diffusers and use the stock bulbs that came in the cluster. If you go superwhites then the intensity increases. If you use blue the color gets deeper. But honestly if you are going or thinking about getting the gauge faces that this tool posted up........you might as well save the extra cash and just do what I suggested. You risk less, save more and you acheive a different look.
Also the focus on the pic I took in that thread is realllllllllllllllllllly off so it will appear dulled and blurred. Nothing is better than stock, I've tried.

actually no what? the light is still green in those pics. there is a green coating on the back of the gauges. so removing the blue bulb condoms doesn't get rid of the green tint entirely.

Heh, those are pretty cool. I have a '94, and the 5-9 on my tach don't light up at night. I've been looking at reverse gauges but I decided not to get them. Since summer is coming up, I'll probably get around to fixing it, haha. I wasn't planning on changing the bulbs, because everything else would still light up green... like the AC and radio.
