Actually no; if you look at the pics in the thread that I showed in my post you will see what it can look like if you remove the light diffusers and use the stock bulbs that came in the cluster. If you go superwhites then the intensity increases. If you use blue the color gets deeper. But honestly if you are going or thinking about getting the gauge faces that this tool posted up........you might as well save the extra cash and just do what I suggested. You risk less, save more and you acheive a different look.
Also the focus on the pic I took in that thread is realllllllllllllllllllly off so it will appear dulled and blurred. Nothing is better than stock, I've tried.
