can i run without my harmonic balancer tensioner spring. my previous one came off and got it the timing belt and made it skip. so i took off the timing belt lined timing back up and put everything back together again. started the car couple times drove it a little bit no problmes. then timing skipped again or at least it seems to be running like it did havent had time to check yet. so my question is was it just that i am still using a belt that has been taken off a couple times and may be a little stretched out and thats why it skipped or did it skip becuase i dont the the tensioner spring for the harmonic balance belt.
