my accord is having a slight problem ...
when im on the highway, and switch into 5th gear, i step on the gas a little bit and it kicks it out of 5th gear....... is my tranny going ??

Sounds like the gear isn't fully engaging... Could be that the synchros is going in which case it could be the trani. Do you hear any grinding or any other noise when this happens?

lol, i thought u meant on an auto, i was about to answer thats normal for it to downshift, but yea its ur synchros i think...
