It's exactly what I did, slip off the clip, heat control to cool, turn valve all the way to closed postion, slip back on and clip holder into place. It just doesn't seem that it can push the lever all the way shut. It works fine now for the time being, besides I don't have a personal Raytech gun to get a good shot read. When class starts back up again (August), I use the school's gun and if I get a significantly higher effluent from the valve, I figure next time I need to drain my coolant and refill, I'll change out the valve then.

I might go back to school in augest, what are you taking? I'm thinking about mostly the smog stuff, maybe the body shop class.

Small Engine Repair, then in Spring 2005, either auto or manual tranny.

SMOG is a good course to take and will make you even more valuable if you pass the ASE (as you already know).

yeah, i have all my ase's now and my basic smog lic. , i just need the enhanced lic. to smog in sacramento. then I can get a second job doing test only smogs on my days off.
