Bent Rim?
I just hit a wall on the freeway ramp going probably around 30-40 mph after braking and skidding and amazingly my wheelmax rim didn't break. There was an accident so the cops blocked the road and I didn't see it until I was very close. The only thing that made contact with the wall was the front left rim. It is badly scratched around the the edges of the rim. When I drive about 50+ mph I could hear something that kinda sounds like driving with a flat tire and my steering wheel shakes a lot at 65-80 mph. Is this because of a bent rim or do I just need an alignment? Thanks...
Sounds to me like it's the alignment or even an axle (axle was what I needed when my steering wheel shaked on the highway), but you should also check over the rim really well, because if the rim is too bent and causing any areas where it could possibly cut into the tire on the inside of the rim then that could be a problem.
i would check CV definatly, rim maybe... go to a tire shop and ask them to look at it... i it curb at like 30-40 with back tire while sliding, messed up alignment, broke hub spindle, and bent the rim
