can anyone point me to a source to tell me exactly how the shifter cable that goes from the shifter down to the trans removes/installs? my chiltons manual doesn't say anything except on how to adjust, and i can only get 2 clicks out of it (R and N) and then its too hard to move anywhere else...(this is out of the blue, worked fine yesterday)

 

I have a 92 and mine is doing the exact same thing, very hard to get out of P, but shifts/works fine otherwise. How much is the shift cable part anyway? I'm trying to sell the car actually and it would be good to know how much the part runs.

 

i found that advance wants $78 for it...gonna check honda today, but i'm sure they want more
