I replaced my OEM pads with carbon metallic......I think the OEM were a ton better. No chater and better stopping power...plus I think the OEM pads dont give off to much dust.

I had EBC green stuff pads, they sucked tons of dust and minimal stopping increase. I now have hawk HPS pads--WOW, very little if any dust, very-very good stopping power. I'm sold on Hawk HPS for life. And all this with stock OE pads.

AEM/Nissin (O.E. Japanese co.) pads are made of a Kevlar Ceramic compound that is metallic, but supposedly AEM/Nissin uses a lot less metal as other performance pads out there. In other words, they are not stock, but not the typical aftermarket pad either. http://www.aempower.com/product_pad.asp

I have had mine on for a month. No dust, no squeaking, and my car stops more easily.

AEM pads are the shiznit, fo shizzle. Far better than OEM pads.

Did you resurface your rotors or put anti squeel stuff on your brakes?

I've had my AEM pads since last summer and they work great! I love them. I've never heard any squealing or the like. They do leave a good amount of brake dust on my rims. They also work well with my cross drilled/slotted rotors.
