Default 6thgen tranny

since my tranny is starting to slip and i have the warranty, if i get a new one, couldn't i technically get a manual one and just have the dealer install it? or will that not work?

the warranty only covers the OEM tranny. so, u will only get a rebuilt AUTO tranny. trying to add a clutch assembly & adding the 5spd system is technically swapping. no dealer will go for it.
