Default lug nut lock

hey everyone... i just noticed that on my car the previous owner had them wheel lock things on the lug nuts...i called him but he said he lost the key.... is there anyway i can get em off??? like do they say a universial key for the lugnut or am i gonna have to think of some way to take it off???? thanks

a hammer, a center punch, and a little bit of time to tap them off.

Some designs on the wheel locks are pretty much universal. I suggest is just going to Pep Boys (etc.) and seeing if any of the wheel locks they sell have similar keys to your wheel locks.

how in the world do u lose the key to ur wheels? jus leave the car in a bad neighborhood and im sure the lug nuts will be off...and some other stuff also, lol.

but cant use just like tap it out, like a snapped off screw?

i have the same problem, except a shop that was working on my car lost the wheel lock key. I went to a honda dealer and they have a master set of the keys. they test each one on your wheel lock and whichever one matches, you'd have to order from McGard yourself. Unless you can order it from your Honda dealer.

Make sure it's a honda wheel lock though. if not, try to find out where the previous owner bought it from and contact the company.
