haha, I just checked my tire pressure, and all tires are 32PSI when the thing on the tire says 44PSI. Does anyone know if they were all 32PSI for a reason or if it was just a coincidence that they just happened to be 32PSI.

44 psi is the max the tires can hold, not what you put in them. 32 is probably what they're supposed to be for your car. check inside the driver door to see.

Too bad I spent $150 per tire on the "stock quality" tires when I could have spend about $100 on quality tires. Arrrg. I wish I was thinking straight at the tire shop. Actually come to think about it, Sams club didn't have much of a selection anyway.
I bought maximum performance Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's for less than that :eh:

BTW, any sort of performance all seasonal will suck in the snow, and be only average in the wet. My advice to you is to buy some good summer performance tires, such as the Yokohama AVS ES100 (about $80/tire), then get some winter tires.

Buy any tires on www.tirerack.com...I have no idea why people buy tires from local shops and stores. It's absolutely stupid. And BTW, your car peels out because you have shitty tires.

Sams prices are comparable to Tire Rack and they carry all tires from all major brands... you may just have to order them and wait 5 business days. Then you A) have a good warranty on your tires and a place to get them fixed and B) don't have to worry about WHERE you are going to get them installed.

if i hit it 100%, i'd probably burn out with a good deal of smoke...and screw up something else (like transmission, strip the gears or something) in the process, so i've never done 100% from a stopped position.

It's probably the tires, the standard crap Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus, on tirerack.com they have a terrible rating (5.8 out of 10...#11 out of 16); i'll probably buy 4 Bridgestone Turanza LS-V's which have a nice 8.8 out of 10 (#2 out of 16).

it sounds more like the alignment is off. even with crappy tires it shouldnt peel out all the time if the whole tire is on the ground. if there was a camber problem though and its sitting on the edge of the tire it would peel out very easily.
