when its wet out, and you got a lead foot like me, yeah they'll peel like crazy, its prolly the tires, on my old stocks I'd peel all the time in the rain, when its dry though its more of a chirp, you'll get alittle spin but just alittle, i just say easy on it at first, then once your rollin, give it more

wait, pumping more air into the tires would cause it to spin more wouldnt it? this is why when draggin to deflat the front tires to 25? to prevent the spinning.

I have no idea, but the next time I get some new tires, they'll be the all-season high performance tires. I compared the stock tires with some others at tirerack.com and the reason why the accords have crappy performance in the snow is because their rating for the stock tires is like 6, whereas aftermarket tires have about 7.5. Too bad I spent $150 per tire on the "stock quality" tires when I could have spend about $100 on quality tires. Arrrg. I wish I was thinking straight at the tire shop. Actually come to think about it, Sams club didn't have much of a selection anyway.

$150 per tire?? My yokohama 225 18's high performance tires cost that much each and I thought I was gonna faint. You got really ripped off on those tires. Stock tires should be super cheap.

I used to have a peeling out problem too a while back, but when I put my 17" rims and Kumho ECSTA Supra 712's on my car, I haven't had a probleming with peeling out since, no matter how much I speed out of a stopped position...am going with the consensus on this one in that it is your tires.

Your tires are the biggest factor. Also worn-out shocks. I have Bridgestone Potenza RE950's and I can only peel out in the rain. The stock tires would peel out even in the dry with some throttle. So I'd get some stickier rubber if I were you.

yeah, I know I got ripped off on those crap tires, damn Sams Club idiots. A friend of mine (who doesn't own a Honda) had the same problem, he got new tires and he's fine now. The only difference is that he had barely any treds, mine are just about stock.

Just to clairify, the car peels out all the time, wet or dry. The only difference is that when it's dry, it burns out with a bigger screach.

You can order just about anything from Sams, and for a good price too... you'll just have to ask!
