they don't make a usdm '03 Evo. i'd spend more and get an '04 STi while dealers are trying to get rid of them imo.

If I had the money, I'd try to do that. I want one of those so bad. In 4-5years after my accord is dead I'll have one.

I hope you having fun with the Rex Keith? would you say its worth it trading in the H22 accord for one?

yes the wrx is nice. in general it's nice driving a new car v. a 9 yr old one. i love how the seats hold me in place and the broad power band. the car handles great stock, although i'll hopefully have my 17s on this weekend and have it dropped on eibachs in another month.

it would not have been worth trading the car in. i dropped my price and still got 2k more than what trade in would have been and sold it in a few days after dropping my price. i still wish i got little more for my car, but i wanted an '04 before they were gone and wanted the 1.9% financing. one thing i learned is that if your considering a swap or turbo to your car, first consider selling/trading it and buying something else that has power already especially if you need to pay someone to do the install work.

US EVO VIII released in 2003. The 2004s have not been released yet. There are a bunch of changes for the 2005 STi which can be purchased as we speak.

The Accord is a different class of car...
smooth, reliable, and sophisticated.
The Evo is just an econobox... with turbo and all-wheel drive.
If all you care about is speed, then the Evo is the way to go. (And I do understand this point of view. Not too long ago, speed was all that I cared about as well.) But if you care about quality, comfort, and class then stick with the Accord. If the 4cylinder isn't powerful enough for you, opt up for the V6. It still may not be as fast as the Evo, but it will dust just anything out there while you sit back in comfort with room for your friends...

actually dude. there is an 03 evo so do your homework dude. but yes i do agree with you the sti's are sick cars but there are like 20 in my city and i know all the kids so i want something new and more original and evo's beat sti's. my friend owns a shop and a really rich guy wants to back him financially and turn 3 cars into show cars. one being his supra, the other his turboed integra and the third would be my evo

well then it's more like a 2003.5 cause those were released like a month before the 2004 STi which was released very early for an '04 last year so it's easy to get confused. normal release for an '03 would be summer of '02 and those weren't available till ~march '03 which most would consider that either a 2004 or a 2003.5.

stock for stock evos don't beat STis. my friend ran 12.9 completely stock, evos can't touch that.

around here i think STis are more popular on the road too, but at the track it was like 5 evos to 1 STi. i'd still take an STi though, more power and i believe they are better built cars in general. regardless either car gets looks and are both sweet.
