Damn, thats scarey, cause I'm in Seattle, and always fear for my car. Sorry about what happened. I say we all ban together, and create a "watch group" / steak out people to catch car theives in the act.Its an idea I've always had, and we'd work with the police, and help bring down car theft. Maybe break some heads while we're at it.

Anyway, I was going through the threads, and noticed before this happened, you posted a thread with pics of your car after lowering it. This might have been a bad idea, since its basically advertising to theives of what you have, including ur system, screen, PS2 and other goodies. Just something to think about.

Yeah i thought about that at first, but i went home before i went to the library where it was stolen, and i was there a good hour, and when i arrived at the library the guys who took it were already there, so K dont think that has much to do with it. I like the idea of the watch group ....the only problem would be involving the police just because car theft is on such a low priority for them, in king county you have to steal 7 cars before they come looking for you.

Why the hell would they take your intake, even if it's a quality brand. . . No one is going to around "Hey man, I stole an intake for your car dude, 50 horsepower! $50 or some crack!" (Yes, I often associate car thieves with drugs.)

Is there a chance you can buy the car back and begin to fix everything?

watchgroup sounds like an idea.
there a few thing on the DMV website, like there is this thing that shows ur VIN number n ur windshield or window and i am not sure how is categorize but at a certain time of night the police will stop or check ur car when they see it.. and another diff thing is the police will check the car if is parked for a certain amount of time. some of this stuff lower ur car insurance.

i guess i will stick the only safe way, tracking devide call u up righ away if the car leave ur block or the zone u select. just better make sure u got another car to follow ur car especially when u command the car to turn off while running or it will automatically turn off when come to a full stop "red light".
